Why Fusion?
Fusion offers a uniquely powerful node-based workflow that makes even the most complex compositions feel intuitive and efficient. It also has a fully fledged 3D system which is great for 3D Compositing and Motion Graphics.Unlike After Effects’ layer-based approach that can quickly become cluttered in intricate projects, Fusion’s node system provides unparalleled flexibility and precision. And it doesn’t rely on plugins either. Fusion does almost the same as Nuke, yet does so at a more accessible price point, making it ideal for independent artists and smaller studios. Moreover, its real-time GPU acceleration and seamless integration with DaVinci Resolve further streamline the post-production process, positioning Fusion as a robust, cost-effective solution for any visual effects or compositing challenge. I am using the Blackmagic Fusion Standalone application, but everything I do here can be done in the Fusion page of DaVinci Resolve.
Hopefully you’ll find this useful!
