Beck to the business of painting with watercolor
In this video - I develop the painting "Cafe Improv" improvising on sketches and memories of the Pavement Cafe in Boston. I use watercolor which means I am always adapting to what happens on the paper. Using color and edges to my discretion I try to hit at the essence of this scene - a local cafe in Boston.
This improvisation is born out of many visits, many sketches, and paintings as well.The more I am able to paint this motif the more comfortable and fluent I feel while improvising...
