I use a “Painters Perspective” which employs one point perspective. I also use repeated shapes that diminish Into the distance. The perspective is established in the drawing by estimation. Rulers and other aids defeat the goal of an expressive painting. I describe the process I use to achieve a believable perspective based on a presumed horizon line and a vanishing point.
