The NCE PowerCab is loved by model railroaders all over the world. However as an introductory system is does come with a few limitations. DCCconcepts have just introduced their new Aegis system that addresses many of these limitations by providing power and performance upgrades to the basic PowerCab. DCCconcepts provided me with a pre-release sample of the Aegis system and I want to share with you a closeup look at what it offers and how it works. In Canada sales are through Kingston Locomotive works (https://www.locomotiveworks.ca). There are also several dealers in Austrlia that will have initial allocations.
