Poojya Swamiji says, "A Value is a value, only if the value of the value is valued by you!"
Our scriptures lay a lot of emphasis on cultivating Sad Gunaah or Daivi Sampat, spiritually friendly virtues, to prepare our minds to receive the ultimate teaching of TAT TVAM ASI from our Gurus and Shastras.
In the book "Value of Values," Poojya Swamiji explains each of the 20 values that Lord Krishna has taught in the Thirteenth Chapter of Shrimad Bhagawad Geetha from verses 8 to 12. Krishna calls them Jnanam because they aid in preparing the spiritual seeker's mind to receive, retain, assimilate, and derive the benefit of Vedantic knowledge taught by the Guru.
