Crayola Air-Dry Clay or Play-Doh
Leaf Shape Cut out
Toothpick
Butter Knife
Wood Rolling Pin
Stamps or Crayola Markers
Piece of Parchment Paper
Round Bowl
Optional - Acrylic paint and paintbrush
Steps
1. Roll out the clay or Play-Doh on a piece of parchment paper
2. Trace the leaf onto it, or just draw a leaf onto it
3. Cut away the edges
4. Make a pattern on both sides, you can draw it or use stamps or markers
5. Drape it over the bowl and let it dry
6. Play-Doh already has color but you can paint the air dry clay
Adaptions
Children could roll the clay out and make it any shape then drape it over the bowl, it could even
be a circle
Extensions
Make nesting bowls (Bigger one, medium one, and smaller one that stack on top of each other)
Make sculptures out of Play-Doh and let them dry

Tips
Keep the Play-Doh or clay around 1/4 thick, any thinner and it might crack while it is drying on
the bowl
If Im using Play-Doh I like to use two colors and mix them so they look marbled.
You can use stamps, legos, and more to make patterns into the clay and Play-Doh.
