The Mosaic program is finally getting pushed with some amazing new updates. Proposed by the FAA at the EAA Oshkosh 2023. Several changes in both the light sport aircraft category and experimental aircraft category have been proposed.
The proposed changes we care about are:
- Weight limit increase for light sport: from 1320 lbs to 3,000 lbds
- Speed increase from 120 kts to 250 kts
- Increased stall speed from 45 kts to 54 kts
