This documentary web-series unfolds the life and times of K. M. MOULAVI, a legendary South Asian Islamic religious scholar who was active in the anti colonial struggles in British Malabar. A charismatic leader, a prolific author and an influential orator, Moulavi contributed immensely to the religious enlightenment, political empowerment and educational advancement of Kerala Muslims. Moulavi was a key social reformer of the era in the region and the mentor of a historic philanthropic enterprise.
This episode includes original video footages of different locations in Malabar and clips of interviews with various resource persons relevant to the history narrated.
