(Entries close Sunday, September 22 at midnight) Moose hunting in Alaska is one of the last, true DIY big game opportunities for non-residents without the need for a guide, and the Alaskan wilderness holds legendary trophy moose if someone is willing to go deep enough into the backcountry to find them. On this hunt, Isaiah and his brother set out to find TWO such legends, selecting an area only accessible by float plane and with a 50-inch or better requirement for legal moose, making the hunt all the more difficult. In part one, Isaiah's brother Caleb was able to harvest a 60+ inch bull. Now, in part two, it's Isaiah's turn. After a close call bow hunting, the two brothers spot a black bear along the beach and Isaiah makes a great shot on the bear with his rifle. This lifts the spirits of the group and with the seconds counting down on the last day of the hunt, they spot a GIANT bull moose moving along the beach. They are able to get in front of the bull and make some long shots while the moose is standing in the lake. This hunt was a dream come true for the two brothers with the perfect ending... two 60+ inch Lake Monsters and a bonus black bear.
