Other than that, what kind of yarn should I use? As for questions about changing the size and arranging the pattern, I can't give you a vague answer because I haven't actually knitted it with any yarn other than the one in the video, so I don't think I can give you an accurate answer.
Also, it's difficult to explain because I haven't actually seen it^^;
