In this episode, Mama Laoshi visits Taipei Kids Academy, a place that offers courses for kids in a variety of topics and subjects. At TKA, we met the amazing Tingting Laoshi and her two talented students, Gracie and Caiyi. Together, we did warm up and learned about the basics of gymnastics, from balancing to tumbling. We learned that gymnastics isn’t just about movement, but that it’s also about strength, flexibility, and focus. We also got to learn about two incredible gymnasts from the United States: Suni Lee and Simone Biles, both are considered among the greatest gymnasts of all time.
