This is a recap of all of AQA mechanics and materials for use as A Level Physics revision. In the video I cover the basics of scalars and vectors, and then go into great detail with how we can deal with vector addition and resolving vectors, including forces, into their components.
We then looked at equilibrium and the moment of a force, before investigating motion with displacement, velocity and acceleration. suvat equations of motion were covered, both for movement in one dimension as well as projectile motion. Newton's three laws are covered with their full definitions. Finally - mechanics of materials, including Hooke's law, stress, strain and the Young modulus are also covered. A lot to take in, but 46 minutes of physics gold.
Thanks for watching - I hope it was useful,
Lewis
