We finally review the mother of all campgrounds, the largest of Jasper National Park's campgrounds, with 781 sites and modern amenities including hot and cold running water and electrical and full hook-up sites for RVs.
The newly modernized Whistlers Campground officially reopened to campers in summer 2021. The campground now has a brand new registration centre, improved electrical and sanitation services, 18 new washroom and shower facilities, and all Whistlers campsites have been levelled and restored with new picnic tables and fire pits. Plus, all roads have been repaved so potholes will be a thing of the past.
The campground opening dates varies from year to year but usually from early May to mid October. All campsites are reservable online & these sites are varied from unserviced with a firepit to full serviced with firepits.
