The various movements and conflicts among animals evoke curiosity and astonishment in us. For instance, in Maharashtra, India, a troop of monkeys launched retaliatory attacks against dogs. After a puppy killed a monkey infant, the monkeys began attacking puppies in revenge. This conflict lasted for three months, resulting in the death of about 250 puppies.
On the other hand, hyenas initiated aggressive resistance against lions when a lion killed one of their cubs. The hyenas, in groups, attacked the lions to avenge the death of their cub.
In South Africa's Kruger National Park, rhinos protested against vehicular traffic by blocking the roads. Elephants protest to protect their young ones when they feel threatened or terrified. They also stop cars and search for food during food shortages.
Such unprecedented animal movements and protests teach us that while it is essential to protest against all injustices, it is preferable to resolve issues peacefully whenever possible.
