* Ученик и друг композитора Сергей Танеев оркестровал «Andante и Finale» после смерти композитора. Работая над партитурой, он сохранил фортепианную партию и все указания Чайковского относительно оркестровки. Танееву принадлежит и переложение этого произведения для двух фортепиано. «Andante and Finale» в редакции для двух фортепиано и оркестровая редакция Сергея Танеева были изданы в 1897 году Митрофаном Беляевым, но местонахождение их автографов неизвестно. Тогда же возникла и мысль напечатать черновики этого произведения, принадлежавшие Чайковскому, как оркестровые произведения или как части неосуществлённой композитором симфонии. Этот замысел не был осуществлён. Третий концерт (ор. 75) был издан Петром Юргенсоном в 1894 году, уже после смерти композитора.
* The composer's student and friend Sergei Taneyev orchestrated Andante and Finale after the composer's death. While working on the score, he retained the piano part and all of Tchaikovsky's instructions regarding the orchestration. Taneyev also wrote an arrangement of this work for two pianos. Andante and Finale in the version for two pianos and Sergei Taneyev's orchestral version were published in 1897 by Mitrofan Belyayev, but the location of their autographs is unknown. At the same time, the idea arose to publish Tchaikovsky's drafts of this work as orchestral works or as parts of a symphony that the composer never completed. This plan was never realized. The Third Concerto (op. 75) was published by Pyotr Jurgenson in 1894, after the composer's death.
