Alleppey Style Fish Curry | ആലപ്പി സ്റ്റൈൽ ഫിഷ് കറി
Alleppey fish curry is spicy and tangy curry which is traditionally cooked in mun chatty ( earthern pot ) Traditinally this curry is made either with coconut milk or using coconut paste.This curry is simmered with spices in a coconut based gravy along with raw mango which gives the tangy unique flavour for this curry. This yummy curry goes well with a bowl of hot boiled rice.

Ingredients:

Coconut oil 2 tbsp
Fenugreek 1/8 tsp
Curry leaves few
Green chili 2
Kashmiri chili 1 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder 1/2 tsp heaped
Turmeric 1/4 tsp
Mango 1 sliced
Salt 1 1/2 tsp
For grinding:
Coconut 1/2 c
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Kashmiri chili powder 1 tsp
Shallots 2
Garlic 2
For crushing
Green chili 1
Ginger 1 piece
Shallots 10
Garlic 8-10
For Tempering
Coconut oil 2 tsp
Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
Shallots 2 sliced
Dry chilli 2
Curry leaves few
