I added a new monster to the Wild West this week with a terrifying alligator snapping turtle. I printed the turtle on Anycubic’s new and unreleased DLP printer, the Photon Ultra! This is a pre-release model I was sent to test out. The Photon Ultra is making its worldwide debut on Kickstarter on September 15th, where it will be available at just $399 for the first 100 backers and $499 for normal price. After Kickstarter, Photon Ultra’s price on Amazon will be over $599.

1.High Quality Prints
Based on Digital Light Processing, the Photon Ultra is capable of producing parts with high dimensional accuracy and intricate detailing quickly.
2.The lifespan is more than 20,000 hours which greatly reduces the maintenance cost of the printer.
3.Energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. The light utilization rate is significantly increased, so the power consumption is as low as 12W.
4.User-friendly design. Allowing to modify the printing settings in the machine operation interface.
5.The print bed adopts a laser carving process, so the prints can stick to the build plate more firmly.
6.16x anti-aliasing; No cooling fan, much quieter when printing.
