There is consistently debate about what makes an RPG an RPG, despite how simple it may seem, and so I decided to take a look at a few video games for the SNES that are sometimes suggested to be roleplaying games. Are they? I'll let you decide as I consider what makes them LIKE an RPG and what makes them NOT like an RPG. While there are likely some common expectations on here, particularly one legendary game, there are some I'd imagine you have never even heard considered RPGs before. These games aren't Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy VI, and Earthbound, afterall, so let's see what makes these "RPGs" worthy or NOT worthy of the label.
