Aloo Palak Sabji | Potato Spinach Curry |Side dish for Chapathi | Potato Recipes | Aloo Palak Recipe @HomeCookingShow #aloopalaksabji #potatospinachcurry #potatorecipes #aloopalakkisabji #aloopalakrecipe #aloorecipes #potatosabji #sidedishforchapathi #sidedishes #homecooking Prep Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins Servings: 3-4 Ingredients Potato - 6 Nos Chopped Palak Leaves Oil Cumin Seeds - 1 Tsp Red Chilli - 3 Nos Onion - 2 Nos Finely Chopped Ginger Garlic Green Chilli Paste Salt - 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder - 1/2 Tsp Tomato - 2 Nos Chopped Chilli Powder - 1 Tsp Cumin Powder - 1 Tsp Garam Masala - 1 Tsp Water - 1/2 Cup Salt - 1 Tsp Ghee - 1 Tsp Kasuri Methi - 1 Tsp Method: 1. Wash the potatoes nice and clean. Peel off the skin and chop them into equal sized pieces. 2. Put them in a bowl of water and keep them aside. 3. Take a wide pan and put oil in it. Add cumin seeds, red chillies and saute. 4. Add in the chopped onions and saute until they are transparent. 5. Then add ginger garlic green chilli paste and saute along with onions. 6. Add chopped potatoes and mix well. Add in salt, turmeric powder and mix it all again. 7. Add tomatoes and mix. Add in chilli powder, cumin powder and garam masala powder. 8. Mix to make sure they coat the potatoes well and add water. Mix it all again. 9. Cover the pan and cook the potatoes for 10 mins. 10. After 10 mins, check for seasoning and add salt if required. 11. Once the potatoes are nice and soft, add in the cleaned and chopped palak leaves. 12. Mix them well with potatoes and close the pan to cook for 3-4 mins. 13. Then add ghee and crushed Kasuri Methi. 14. Mix well and transfer it into a serving bowl. 15. Serve the aloo palak sabzi hot with phulka, chapati or jeera rice. This curry is dry in texture and can be made within half an hour roughly. This one is a great accompaniment for chapati, roti or phulka.
