Season two of Toilet Bound Hanako-kun will be directed by Yohei Fukui (with Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Toilet Bound Hanako-kun) as series screenwriter and Mayuka Ito (Toilet Bound Hanako-kun) as character designer. Lerche is in charge of the animation production.
Season two is scheduled to premiere in Japan on January 12, 2025

Episode 6: Make Believe
[Synopsis]
Early summer. In the suffocating heat and the din of cicadas, Nene goes to school.
She overslept a little more than usual, but it was a normal morning.
Just as she was taking a breather after making it to homeroom, someone called out to her from behind.
When she turned around, it was Hanako-kun, wearing the Kamome Academy uniform, who was there.
She went up to his desk, saying his name out of bewilderment. Amane corrects her and tells her that his name was Amane. Inquiring Yashiro where he got "Hanako-kun" from. She stared at Amane and patted him to make sure he was real. She asked him how he got into her classroom, what he was doing there, and what he was wearing.
