This is a short and quiet video about making a handmade mushroom sculpture.
It is an Amanita (fly agaric) with a peaceful human face, sitting with hands together and eyes closed, like in prayer or namaste.
The sculpture is about 21 cm tall and made from recycled paper, foil, masking tape, and papier-mâché paste. I shaped it slowly, layer by layer, then painted it with acrylic paints and finished it with matte acrylic varnish.
The form may look simple, but it has many ways to become special.
Each step was calm and thoughtful. This piece is for those who love forests, slow living, and small moments of stillness.
