The Amarnath Yatra, a sacred pilgrimage to the Amarnath Cave, is a profound expression of faith and devotion. Without a valid RFID card, pilgrims will not be allowed to cross the entry control gates at Domel/Chandanwari.
Accommodation options at Pahalgam and Baltal range from guesthouses and lodges to budget hotels, catering to various needs and preferences. Pre-fabricated huts are also available for overnight stays, provided by private contractors through the Shrine Board, available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
