Extinctions happened many times on earth and millions of species and already went extinct because of that. Nature have many ways to make any species go extinct like asteroids, climate change, super-volcano, mega-tsunami, huge earthquakes, etc. But, humans had also made many amazing animals go extinct by hunting and other ways. So many species are going extinct daily in the world because of human activities. One of such amazing animal was the woolly mammoth. It was the last species of mammoths. They went extinct because of human hunting about 10,000 years ago, at the end of the last ice age. Another one is the famous dodo bird. They lived in a lonely island in the indian ocean called mauritius. When portugese ships boarded their for the first time, dodo were very happily living there. But soon the nightmare came and the portugese hunters begun to hunt all the dodos and eventually made them go extinct. It was actually a prehistoric bird, which was surviving on that island for about 2 crore years. Watch this video to know more about these animal that went extinct by humans.
