In this video join me for an amazing costume study day featuring Mr Darcy's Shirt, Anya Taylor Joy's stunning yellow Emma outifit and original Regency gowns! This was an exclusive ticketed event where we actually got to touch, explore and learn about iconic pieces of screen costume history as well as actual 200 year old regency fashion. As a bonus I also got to take a look around Bankfield Museum's costume gallery for even more fabulous original costumes as well as some modern recreations. Bankfield is one of those less well known museums, but they are making a name for themselves, not only after making headlines with the purchase of Mr Darcy's iconic wet shirt from the 1995 Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth, but also championing the costume drama and the makers that bring those eras of history to life for our enjoyment on the screen. They also have a fantastic collection of original historical costume.
