Tabriz Qajar Museum The Qajar Museum of Tabriz, located in the historic Sheshgolan neighborhood, is one of the remarkable buildings from the Qajar era. It is housed in the Amir Nezam Garousi Mansion, which was built during the reign of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar by Hassan Ali Khan Garousi, known as Amir Nezam Garousi. After restoration and renovation, this building was officially opened as the Qajar Museum in 2006. Architecture The museum is a two-story building with a total area of 1,500 square meters and features two courtyards, an inner and an outer one. The mansion showcases beautiful architecture with tall columns, unique capitals, a wide veranda, lush gardens, and multiple pools. Exhibits The Qajar Museum displays valuable collections from the Qajar period, including: Coins Textiles Porcelain Glassware Metal objects Weapons Official decrees and documents This museum is recognized as one of Iran’s specialized thematic museums, offering insights into the culture and art of the Qajar era. Location & Visiting Hours The Qajar Museum is located in Sheshgolan Street, near Children's Hospital and behind Sheikh Attar School. Visiting Hours: Every day from 9 AM to 6 PM Access: From Chaykenar Street, cross Qari Bridge and enter Thaqat al-Islam Street, then take Shahriar Street. The nearest bus station is Seyyed Hamzeh, and the Meydan Saat metro station is also nearby.
