When on the coast of any country, you’ve gotta try their seafood. Here in Essaouira, Morocco, we went on a huge Moroccan street food tour, trying fish pastilla, the popular street food of stuffed sardines with chermoula, and even a fish couscous. There is some amazing street food in Essaouira, Morocco, and today we tried some of the most popular street foods in the city.
Of the amazing street food in Essaouira, Morocco, we tried the popular Moroccan food tagine, this time a lemon chicken version cooked with olives to give it an extra bite. The tastes and flavours of it were quite different than other tagines we’ve had, and oh so yummy and delicious.
The street food seafood pastilla was packed with seafood and full of flavour. To end our Essaouira seafood street food tour, we tried a huge Moroccan seffa. We aren’t joking, this Moroccan seffa was so huge it was impossible to finish!
