Americans react to the BLITZ by apple tv. this is not a movie review, this a reaction to the damage caused by the blitz brought to the "silver screen" the blitz was a major part and, most likely what set the path to victory for the allies in World War II. from the bombing of london, the bombing of coventry, the bombing of glasgow and so many more this is something everyone should know before visiting the uk. our favorite thing to do is Americans rating to british history videos. this one was no different, despite the half baked storyline, the background setting truly set an emotion for what life was like during the blitz ONe of the top 10 historical events in british history maybe even one the most important historical events in the world #americansreact #britishhistory #worldwar2 #ukhistory #theblitz

actual movie review:
As far as storyline goes, I don't think this movie was great, i find the title misleading, I don't think the writer knew what story he wanted to tell. As so many Blitz movies before, tends to tell a story of unity and perseverance, this movie tries to tell a story of division, unity, and perseverance, but does not do a very good job telling it.
Having quick hits of random hate that was instantly stamped out , or instances of violence without no true outcome or detail to be engaged in. I feel like there was more to tell and i was willing to hear it, but it was done in such a fast pace way to keep up with the storyline, it didn't seem like any of the characters truly cared about it, so why should the viewer? also the lack of follow through of any character development, the mother had a love interest...i think, maybe, didn't even say really who he was... it showed him throughout the movie at a glance, a few lines, but...who was this guy? why did she only look through her own neighborhood for her son? she found out he was gone halfway through the movie and didn't really start looking around her neighborhood like he was a lost cat until the end? The true entertainment was in the setting of the movie, recreating historical events, giving visuals to what most people today can only see in black & white pictures. media or visualize in their own minds while the last remaining survivors tell their tells. i think the movie is worth a watch if you can get past, the story. it really makes me wish someone would step up to the plate to make an updated look into such important time.
