Today we're experiencing Wetherspoons or "Spoons" for the first time - trying the food and drinks, staying at a Wetherspoons hotel, and having breakfast the next morning. We've heard many different opinions about Wetherspoons over our time in the UK, so we decided to experience it for ourselves and share our honest thoughts as Americans. For those who don't know much about it (like us before we went), Wetherspoons is a British pub chain known for its affordable prices, historic buildings, extensive menu, and sticky carpets. Each Wetherspoons has its own unique theme and many are located in converted historic buildings like old theaters and banks. We went for dinner and tried their famous pub classics, pizza, and curry. The next morning we tried a couple of their breakfast options. The menu is huge with everything from traditional British pub food to international dishes, all at surprisingly reasonable prices. We paid £38 for dinner (including drinks), £67 for our hotel room, and £11 for breakfast for two. Overall, we found Wetherspoons to be pretty good quality for the price and we were impressed by the variety of options. What's your go-to order at Spoons? We tried quite a few things but feel like we barely scratched the surface of that massive menu! 🤔 Watch more of our British food videos: Americans Try Toby Carvery: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmHVxipvexM Americans Try Traditional British Pub Food: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6f6s3byZ8w4&t Americans Try Greggs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKiJmhW5G84&t Eating British Fast Food for 24 Hours: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqEAud5mvo8&list Follow us on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/themagicgeekdom/ Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/themagicgeekdom/ Join us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/themagicgeekdom This video was filmed November 20-21, 2024. #Wetherspoons #BritishFood #UKTravel #americaninengland
