Amtrak's Capitol Limited is a train that began running between Chicago and Washington, D.C. in 1981 and was previously operated by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad over much of the same route. In November of 2024, Amtrak temporarily suspended the Capitol Limited and the Washington to Miami Silver Star and combined both trains into the new Floridian. In this video, we'll discuss why this temporary change was made and then take a look at various scenes I've filmed of the Capitol Limited over the last decade.
