Victorian medical imagery and language are stitched into the fabric of Bloodborne. Sometimes it's obvious, such as in Iosefka's Clinic or the Research Hall (the former modeled upon an anatomy school, the latter an infirmary). Other times, these influences are far more subtle.
In this episode, we examine the Healing Church and the ways in which its attire and locales drew inspiration from the real world medical history of Great Britain. In many ways, the evolution of the Church mirrors the evolution of surgical practice in the 18th and 19th centuries.
