An EASY Way How to Pre Sprout Ranunculus to get Beautiful Blooms

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Hello Friends! In today's video, I will show you how to pre-sprout Ranunculus corms to get beautiful Blooms. This is a process I documented in 2024 so I can share it with you. You should soak your corms in room temperature water for a few hours and change the water every hour. Moisten some potting soil and place corms face down. Store in a dark and cool place. Please set an alarm on your phone so you will remember to check on them every few days. If the soil is drying out, you can mist it using a water bottle. Around 2 weeks, you will see some growth points developing, and you can bring your corms to a sunny area inside your home. If you live in the warmer zones, you can plant these outside in the fall or late winter. Colder zones can pre-sprout these inside and plant them out 6 weeks *BEFORE YOUR FROST FREE DATE in Spring. If you love them as much as I do, you can pre-sprout a batch every two weeks and do them in succession planting where you will extend the blooming period (keep in mind when the blooming period ends). Ranunculus blooms for about two months. However, they are cool-weather flowers so as soon as Summer comes, they will stop blooming. They are hardy from Zones 8 and up, therefore in colder zones, you should lift the corms in the Fall season. #plantingranunculus #howtogrowranunculus #ranunculus #springbulbs #springgarden Thank you for subscribing and if you haven't done so.
