Spurred on by the work of a friend, I set about making up an indicator arrangement that would allow me to centre up material in a 4 jaw chuck , right next to the jaws.
I wasn't sure what I had devised would work in practice, so this is what would be described industrially as a demonstrator or a working prototype. Having built this, I can see that there is potential there but also some changes needed in the design.
