In this introduction to using SPSS I will show you around the SPSS workspace. If you are familiar with Microsoft Excel, you will notice some similarities with Excel. You will learn how to open a new dataset in SPSS, create new variables, enter data, and save the dataset. These will be important skills for every SPSS session you do. These skills are foundational to using the IBM SPSS Statistics software.
