I have visited many beautiful places. And I can say with confidence: Tlyaratinsky district of Dagestan is 🔥🔥🔥

🏞Severe mountains, powerful rivers, fabulous forests and villages that seem to float in the sky!

✴Features of Tlyarata:

🔹Tlyaratinsky district is one of the largest and highest regions of Mountainous Dagestan
🔹This is one of the most remote regions of the republic. Distance from Makhachkala - 213 km, can be reached by car in 5 hours
🔹Tlyaratinsky district is located along the main watershed Caucasian ridge. This distinguishes the nature of the Tlyarata highlands from the nature of most regions of Dagestan. The mountains of the Caucasus are not plateau-like here, but cone-shaped
🔹This is the only region of the republic that borders immediately with 2 states: Azerbaijan and Georgia
🔹 The name of the district comes from the word "Tlyarata", which translates as "by the water" (or "by the river"). Indeed, the Tlyaratinsky district is full of streams, springs and rivers. The main river of the region is Dzhurmut, the main tributary of the Avar Koisu
🔹This is one of the most forested in Dagestan. Forests occupy a third of the area!
🔹 A significant part of the beauties of the region is located in the border zone, including the regional center. Therefore, you can get there only by issuing a pass to the border zone in advance.
🔹In total, there are 89 settlements on the territory of the Tlyaratinsky district. 76 of them are located above 1500 m above sea level, and 33 villages are located at an altitude of more than 2000 m. Many Tlyaratinsky villages of Dagestan have an amazing location
🔹 The economy of the Tlyaratinsky district is mainly agriculture. 80% are private households. Local residents grow gardens right on the slopes of the mountains and are engaged in animal husbandry.
The biggest problem in the area is natural disasters. During heavy rains throughout the region, rivers overflow their banks, wash out and fall asleep roads, wires and communications with the outside world are cut off (therefore, the region often gets into the news of Dagestan). And in winter, roads and wires suffer from avalanches.
🔹Almost half of the district is occupied by the Tlyaratinsky reserve - a protected area around the Dzhurmui River and its tributaries (Avar Koysu river basin)

I was especially impressed by the valley of the river Baaraor! (it even sounds cool!) One of the best tourist routes in Dagestan is located along it. There is incredibly beautiful nature!

In this movie, I
🔸Forded mountain rivers
🔸 Lost and found your drone
🔸I admired the beauty of mountains, streams, rivers and mountain lakes
🔸Met good people
