This story is about two brothers, one of whom was named Bhola and the other was named Gopal. Bhola was the elder brother. He was blind since birth. When their father died, the responsibility of looking after Bhola was given to his younger brother Gopal. Gopal lived for a few days. So he has to take care of his brother but gradually he gives up on taking care of his brother. He leaves his brother in a forest so that some wild animal can kill and eat him.
