Julie Andrews , who soared to fame in the musicals Mary Poppins and The Sound of Music, has developed into one of the screen's major dramatic actresses.
Andre Previn is an old friend of hers and also of her husband, Blake Edwards , the producer, director and writer of many successful films, including the Pink Panther series.
Recently, Andre visited them in Los Angeles for an informal and wide-ranging conversation.
