Fourteen years after Andy Kawa was brutally attacked and raped at
Kings Beach in Gqeberha, she continues to fight for justice.
She testified how she was held captive for 16 hours, repeatedly
assaulted, and feared for her life.
The accused, Moses Gqesha, has pleaded not guilty, claiming their
encounter was consensual, a version Kawa firmly rejects.
Today, after days of facing relentless questioning, Kawa was asked to
identify her alleged rapist - the first time she has looked at him in
court.
