Today's tutorial will show you how to set up the CFD simulation for Couette Flow in ANSYS Fluent.
Couette flow is a shear-driven fluid motion that describes the flow between 2 infinitely long parallel plates that are separated by some distance h, where the top plate moves with some velocity U and the bottom plate is stationary. For this simulation of Couette flow, we will be using water as our fluid, our plate separation will be 5mm and the moving plate will have a velocity of 0.02 m/s.
