Description: In the Current tutorial, natural convection heat transfer has been modeled, for a solid aluminum cylinder. The cylinder has been kept in a rectangular chamber. The cylinder wall temperature is 500 K, whereas the surrounding air temperature is 300K, this temperature difference causes a natural convection Heat transfer between the cylinder surface and the surrounding air. This Heat Transfer has been analyzed for an unsteady(transient) case for a time period of 60 seconds. The detail variation of temperature along with time has been captured as solution animation.
