At the age of 19 years and 39 days, Anthony Simonsen became the youngest player in PBA history to win a major championship, breaking Mike Aulby's record of 19 years and 83 days. Simonsen qualified as the top seed for the 2016 USBC Masters stepladder finals, then defeated Dan MacLelland for the title.
