We all know the anguish caused by the disappearance of a family member. But the joy of reuniting with them is indescribable. Apan Thikana has been successfully working to reconnect missing individuals with their families. So far, we have reunited more than 450 people with their loved ones. Apan Thikana is a production of Studio of Creative Arts Ltd.
We create videos featuring people who went missing in their childhood and families who have lost their loved ones. We use the names of their parents and family members, along with memories as clues, to help reunite them.
I am RJ Kebria, Founder and Managing Director of Studio of Creative Arts Ltd. I pioneered the hosting of the privately owned FM 89.6 radio station and have worked in radio for 17 years. I completed my MPhil degree at Dhaka University. I was the Executive Producer of Dhaka FM 90.4 and Station-in-Charge of Radio Amber. Additionally, I have hosted a morning show on Maasranga TV and served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Liberal Arts. I previously hosted a show called Lost and Found, where I created 42 videos and successfully reunited 31 people with their families. From this, the concept of Apan Thikana was born.
We publish our videos on Facebook and YouTube, using them to our advantage in reconnecting lost individuals with their families. Through this program, we have reunited more than 200 families with their missing sons and daughters, even after decades.
Millions of people worldwide watch our videos. If viewers recognize someone from the videos, they leave comments about potential connections, and our official volunteers work to verify the match. We follow a strict protocol to prevent fraud and ensure authenticity. If a match is found, we advise the families to take the necessary legal steps for confirmation. Once verified, we document the reunion in an update video. So far, we have reunited more than 400 people with their families.
