Ingredients for the Dough:
Flour – 400 g
Water – 220 ml
Oil – 40 ml
Salt – 1 tsp
Ingredients for the Filling:
Clarified butter – 100 g
Sugar – 50 g
Apples – 1.5 kg
Lemon – 0.5 (juice only)
Cinnamon – 1 tsp
Peanuts – 100 g
Preparation:
Dough: In a large bowl, combine flour, water, oil, and salt. Knead until smooth and elastic. Cover with a cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.
Filling: Peel, core, and slice the apples thinly. Mix with lemon juice, sugar, and cinnamon. Toast the peanuts lightly and chop them.
Assembling: Roll out the dough thinly on a floured surface. Brush with melted clarified butter. Evenly spread the apple mixture and peanuts.
Rolling: Carefully roll the dough into a log, sealing the edges. Brush the top with more butter.
Baking: Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
