The Apple Watch Series 10 is the Apple Watch most people will likely get if they plan to get an Apple Watch right now. But is it worth it in 2025? In terms of features and usability, it's one of the most solid and well-integrated devices out there. But if you want to track your workouts and your health, is the Apple Watch the way to go? That's what we will test in this video.
What is my overall conclusion on the Apple Watch Series 10? Well, in terms of health and sports tracking, it's among the best watches out there. So, if you don't own an Apple Watch yet and you use an iPhone, the Apple Watch Series 10 is a very solid choice. However, would I upgrade? Well, likely not. Even my old Apple Watch Series 6 performs more or less the same as my Series 10. Yes, there are some new features, but those are relatively minor. It's super nice that many new features also come to older Apple Watches, meaning that older models are still very good. Also, one thing that Apple still hasn't developed is a good app that helps you summarize and interpret your health data. They recently released the Apple Vitals app, which is a very bare-bones version of what I hoped this would be. But compared to competitors like Whoop and Oura, Apple is still lagging behind quite a bit. There are third-party apps, like Athlytic and Bevel, but it would be nice if this were natively supported. And yes, for those who have been asking, I promise to test these apps somewhere in 2025. So, the Apple Watch is a great choice, but it has its limitations, and if you want to get a good deal, it might be worth looking into the Series 9, which is very similar to the Series 10 and has similar tracking performance. But if you care about having the latest and greatest, don't mind paying full price, and want an extra year of updates, the Series 10 is the way to go.
