Aprilia RS 125 Tuono part 4 - Let´s replace those BEARINGS in "improvised" ways
Servus and welcome to my new video.
In this part 4 we remove the old engine bearings of the Rotax 122 motor in, lets say, "unconventional" ways. After all bearings are out (even for the gearbox) we press new ones in. Here I go possible but maybe not professional ways to get the job done. But it will work, otherwise I would not go ahead. The goal was not to use any Aprilia special tools for the whole rebuild and so far it looks good.
At age 15 I bought a Honda NSR 125 - A very good bike, had a ton of fun with it. But like everybody in that age I always wanted a Aprila RS, because its the most powerful 125 2 stroke. But the prizes were higher and the cost for maintenance is also much higher, so I could not afford one.
More than 10 years later I had the chance to buy this RS cheap and now I have the skills to completely repair it.
I hope you enjoy my video and it helps you to repair your own stuff - because thats my intention!
Thank you for watching
