In this video essay I discuss Arcane's second season and the shortcomings that held it back from the show becoming the greatest of all time. I think Arcane season two fails to find the right replacement for Silco as the major villain of season one. This results in most of the major story lines being unfocused and needing an external plot device to force inorganic change. For as good as the production is, it doesn't make up for the inconsistent writing.
