●AU explanation :
We are in a universe where the original seven are all alive, no one died. They don't know what the others look like as they never let their hoods down during meetings. However, when they decided they would show themselves in one of their meeting as a show of trust, Barbatos, who happened to be fighting Durin, was late. Keep in mind it wasn't the first time he arrived late, and the other Archons, who don't know anything about him, think of him as childish and immature. So when he came in late, hood up while everyone's was down, they shouted at him, things happened and he fled, ending up never revealing who he was.
A few days later, the Archons learn of what happened in Dragonspine and start a search for their lost friend, hoping to apologize.
(but we don't hate them because we love them)
Also, the characters may be out of character because we don't know anything about the archons, expect for Morax and Baal. Also, in this video, it is Makoto, and not Ei, since Makoto never died in this AU.
And I randomly chose Aqualina as the Hydro Archon's name because why not :)
Also, the designs of Pyro, Hydro, Cryo and Dendro Archon are all inspired by my own imagination as well as this one fanart representing all the archons if you know which one I am talking about, hence why the dendro archon is so different than the one we currently heard about in game. This is also something I'm expecting to see with the other three (a wrong depiction of the original archons that is) but please do keep in mind that at the time of the video we knew absolutely nothing about those four archons, thanks :)
