The 60. Arctic Lapland Rally 2025 around Rovaniemi in Northern Finland once again proved a real test for man and machine with way over 200 kilometres of stages on snow and ice. Tuukka Kauppinen drove an incredible rally in just his fourth ever Rally2 start and won the event together with his codriver Sebastian Virtanen in the Rautio Toyota GR Yaris Rally2. Kalle Rovenperä and Jonne Halttunen used the Tunturiralli as a test ahead of the WRC Rally Sweden 2025 in their Toyota Yaris Rally1. They finished 11.5 seconds behind Kauppinen on the new Hankook tires. Esapekka Lappi and Enni Mälkönen rounded out the podium of the Tunturiralli 2025 on their first start together in the older Škoda Fabia Rally2 evo.
