======================================================

The release of Metaphor: ReFantazio has raised discussion about how much resemblance it shares with Shin Megami Tensei and Persona. This had me wondering had released other "non-Megaten" titles in the past that still share qualities with it (spoiler: they have). That lead me to push the question even further and examine how much influence are Atlus's titles taking from Shin Megami Tensei alone. Persona, other Megaten titles, Maken X, Catherine, they're all fair game. Are Atlus games becoming less original over time?
