Video Not Working? Fix It Now

RBTV's MIKE D. offers up a mini-review of the independent feature film, A GIRL LIKE GRACE, starring Ryan Destiny, Raven-Symone, Meagan Good and Garcelle Beauvais. He then offers his thoughts on a trend he sees in some recent coming-of-age-films starring Black teens (A Girl Like Grace, Dope, Brotherly Love and Honeytrap), which all have dark endings. Is it the artists right to reflect the world she sees, or is it their duty to offer hope when capturing the imagination of young viewers who have historically not been offered many images of themselves? Please feel free to share your thoughts/ideas and comments below. ##### Reelblack's mission is to educate, elevate, entertain, enlighten, and empower through Black film.
