We had the chance to get out this last Saturday and see how the offshore bite was doing. I can say that the water temp is coming up and the fish are starting to chew. The gag grouper bite is absolutely nuts and it is hard to get away from them. The mangrove snapper bite was good and we also mixed in some hogfish and porgies. Are the gags really limited in numbers as NOAA and the Gulf Fisheries panel are describing? We need to make a stance against the continued closings that are being orchestrated with not factual science! Hope you had a great weekend and Fish More, Catch More!
